 Starship Troopers: Invasion (2012)
Starship Troopers: Invasion (スターシップ・トゥルーパーズ インベイジョン?) is an upcoming direct-to-dvd CG film set to be released in Summer 2012. It will be a direct sequel to Paul Verhoeven's Starship Troopers, ignoring the sequels Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation and Starship Troopers 3: Marauder. Cool.  I like all the Starship Troopers films. The first is a modern classic in my opinion. |

I only really liked the first film and the Roughnecks series personally.  The second one was ok-ish I guess if you ignore the really awful cgi... |

The third one was pretty good as well. Decent action fest that never pretends to be anything but a bit of fun. Not sure about the human faces on the trailer. I never like cg films for that reason, but the bugs look terrific. |

I didn't really like the exagerated "politics" in the 3rd one,didn't think those had much to do with the original or Roughnecks.

It was cutting edge at the time and you can actually see the cgi improve each episode but the reason I like it is because of the great characters in there and of course the incredible action sequences with many new weapons (Marauders!) and bug enemies. I'd say it's mostly well done,just when characters are out of their suits (which is not that often) it may seem a bit awkward. |

I have never seen any of the films. This looks good so i must check out the films before i see this.

The first one is a classic but the two sequels are low budget cash-ins. Make Them Die Slowly likes this. |
