Be honest non-Newcastle peeps, how jealous are you? How awesome does this look?
Currently got a friend sorting out tickets for:
Faster Pussycat Kill Kill
Maybe King Kong too!
I love the Tyneside Cinema and am glad their screenings are getting coverage on this forum, it's an absolutely fantastic cinema. It's a shame the 75 hours worth of films is happening over 3 or 4 screens so you have to pick and choose but even so it'll be a great Saturday night.
edit: just as I submitted this I got a text confirming that we have tickets. No King Kong as there's not enough time between Peeping Tom and Faster Pussycat. Can't wait!
Got back about 3 and a half hours ago from this, having been there since about 8 o'clock last night. Needless to say, I'm incredibly tired Ended up seeing
Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill!
Cat People (1942)
The Wizard of Oz
I had to leave when the flying monkeys made an appearance as I was feeling so over-caffeinated and ill but it was such a good night, especially for 75p a ticket! I'm going back later tonight to see The Godfather as well.
Oh, they had a big stack of the Arrow Video catalogue at the box office which was pretty cool.
