I went to their Frighten Brighton event before Christmas at the same venue and picked up some cool paperbacks in the market downstairs. My only complaint is that the venue could not sort out the aspect ratio of their DVD player, so everything was playing in 4.3 instead of 16.9. I find this really annoying, and to see three films in a row with everyone stretched is incredibly irritating! Especially when this sort of event essentially caters to film nerds... Oh, and he was playing a pirated copy of Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell which stopped working halfway through.

So I guess what I'm saying is that these guys mean well but it was a little bit slapdash! If they can sort themselves out I'll happily attend more events.

Some fair comments and all taken on board!

Aspect ratio and other technical aspects are all being looked at along with officially sourced movies and sponsorship.

We're glad you had fun and also found some cool books at The Macabre Market!

ALL feedback is gratefully received so please feel free to complete our survey re; FRIGHTEN BRIGHTON events or email us at cyberschizoid@yahoo.co.uk

What would you like to see at the next Frighten Brighton event? « Frighten Brighton
