CERTIFICATE X in association with JAMESON CULT FILM CLUB presents a unique double-bill of grotesquery, body deformity and wicked dwarfs.
The night starts with a rare outing for the ultra-bizarre and unforgettable German import that scarred a generation of children when it was first shown in the UK in serial form.
THE SINGING RINGING TREE takes the 'Beauty and the Beast' story and twists it into a surreal and nightmarish fantasy full of mutating princesses, evil dwarfs, freaky looking bears, an icelocked goldfish and incredible imagery which David Lynch could only dream of.
The film was even included in Channel Fours '100 Greatest scary Moments' and Den of Geek called it 'The scariest kids show ever'

This will be followed by a new print of the early eighties video classic BASKET CASE. An essential, influential and truly original low-budget cult horror featuring Duane and his deformed Siamese-twin brother who come to New York to seek vengeance on the doctors who (literally) ripped them apart.
