I can always count on Tom Savini delivering top notch special effects and The Burning does not disappoint in this at all.

Not the greatest of the 1980's slashers but it is one of the few where I like most of the cast and didn't wish them a speedy and grisly death.

I was really happy when MGM released this on DVD and added this to my collection as soon as I saw this for sale.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned in this thread was Jason Alexander of Seinfeld being in this.
