Default The Boogeyman films

What do people think about the (post-Millenium slasher) Boogeyman films? I haven't seen the first one, but own the second one and have just watched the third one today, and to be honest I quite enjoyed them. They get a bit of a slagging from some quarters but I think they are an enjoyable enough way to waste an hour and twenty minutes. What do you guys think?

I watched the first one and thought it was a promising idea that failed on pretty much every level. I didn't know there were sequels. I shall not be watching them.

I have certainly seen part one, and I think I have seen parts 2 & 3, but I cannot remember anything about them

That probably says it all really!

Part 3 was strange in that it tried to reinvent the series as a Saw-type venture, even going as far to include Tobin Bell in the cast. But it pretty mcuh fails miserably.

Yeah, that was because Tobin Bell was one of the victims in the second film, and they used this to segue into the third via his daughter.
