Default H.P Lovecraft's From Beyond

My friend has bought this and he was asking if I had seen it, which I replied I haven't yet but i've heard of it - based on a H.P Lovecraft story and directed by Stuart Gordon starring Ken Foree. My friend said it was strange and I should check it out. I had 1st heard of the film on a special feature documentary on the Masters Of Horror box set.

Is there any fans of this film that are hiding in the darkness if so please discuss your thoughts on the film here

Its a brilliant horror from Stuart Gordon
He made this after Re-Animator and I bought the R1 when it was released
Was not disappointed at all and seeing Barbara Crampton in that S&M gear is well worth the price alone!
The sfx are very good and all in all an excellent horor from Gordon
The R1 has the commentary and featurettes and UNCUT

It's one of my favourite films. There's loads of awesome creature effects in it.

We had this on VHS in our house back in the day, and it was definitely one of my favourites. I really need to get the R1 edition of this. Definitely a prime candidate for the Arrow Video treatment!

The mgm r1 dvd is supurb but getting stupidly expenseive these days, theres probably rights issues to deal with for a uk release.

I love From Beyond, I've got the MGM R1 DVD and it's great! As JM says, seeing Barbara Crampton in her g-string is well worth seeking out the disc for! As well as seeing Jeffrey Combs munching on human brains and sucking out eyeballs!

I've wanted to see this film for so long but as I'm only Region B I guess I'll have to wait for a decent release on these shores. It looks like a must for Arrow Video though!
