It's brilliant yet completely revolting but it's the long takes that stalk Danny on his go-kart that I find the most chilling. You *know* that those little gigs are lugging around one of the corners.

It's a great trailer.

Imagine knowing nothing about the film and then catching that trailer before a film at the cinema late 1979/early 1980?

TCM have in the past shown the longer version and I think they're showing it again tonight (13/4) at 11.15pm. But don't quote me cos TCM are known for changing the cuts they show.

I meant to mention this documentary before - it premiered at this year's Sundance and is supposed to be great.

Room 237 (2012)

A subjective documentary that explores the numerous theories about the hidden meanings within Stanley Kubrick's film "The Shining"...

I never understood Steven King's reaction to this 'Addaptaion' of his work.
The guy hate's this classic horror gem, yet love's such made for tv shite as The Longoliers and IT?
Now this may just be me speaking as a non-King fan but the guy has some serious issues there.

If you read the book then you'll understand why, as for saying IT is shite

Shite was possibly to harsh.
Not scary and unitentialy funny is probably more acceptable.
