I have a question hopefully someone can answer: will the Prisoner DVDs play in American machines / are the formats different from there to here?

Woo - $1000 - that is some price to pay for being a Prisoner fan but I can totally understand it ;-)

You dont have to buy the whole collection in one go, though. I absolutely love Prisoner but am pretty poor so am just buying the individual volumes one at a time. The ones I am buying are the UK releases but they are still region 0 so play everywhere, and each UK volume contains the episodes from 2 Australian volumes.
