The Road Warrior imo is not only one of the best action films ever made but it is also a film with some of the greatest cinematography. The shot choices are all perfect. I love the huge wide shots of the action when Max is on the hill. It really gives an epic sense to the proceedings. I dont think I'll ever tire of it.

Well, you see Kev,this cinematic piece of art which has actually been unfairly banded about as a cheapjack video nasty, actually qualifies under a number of popular genres.

HORROR-For obvious reasons.

ACTION-Lot's of chucking bodies about at the finale.Superior stunts.

COMEDY-The script and dialogue/The quality of acting

DRAMA-Crazy Wanda's touching,if rather warped backstory.

THRILLER-Tension as the guy pulls up for a piss.

SCI-FI-The beast/shaggy loo seat may have been an ancient alien, roaming the woods for eons.

EROTICA-The pumping scene in the back of the van.

How many other cinematic arts could qualify for all those?

Funnily enough, the 'actress' in the van scene is a porn actress. I've seen her in the old pre-cert Tangerine and I think she was in Night Dreams too.
