Black Samurai

I've never seen the blaxsploitation film Black Samurai starring Jim Kelly and would welcome the opinions of those who have.

Also if anyone has the DVD from Revelation Films (the UK release) I would love to hear if the transfer is any good and whether or not it features the uncut version.

Unfortuntely both the US and UK dvds feature the edited tv version.

I really enjoyed Black Belt Jones. I've got it as part of the Urban Action Collection which features three other blaxsploitation films in very good quality transfers.

Same here, it felt like an eternity waiting for a Black Belt Jones to come out on dvd, it was worth the price for it alone. Have you watched Hot Potato? I saw it over 20 years ago and wasn't impressed, don't know if I'll bother with it again. Seemed so promising too with the locations etc.

It is indeed a great value set. Hot Potato is the only one in the set that I haven't watched yet, but I must get around to it. The 'to watch' pile just keeps growing though.
