Default Commando Leopard.

Picked this up the other day on video (The old EIV release). I haven't got round to watching it yet, but I take it that it's not too bad, considering it stars Lewis Collins and Klaus Kinski while directed by none other than the great Antony M. Dawson AKA Antonio Margheriti. Any fans?

Not bad.I like Lewis Collins but I prefer CODENAME WILDGEESE.

It also stars Lee Van Cleef,Ernest Borgnine and Klaus Kinski.

Cheers! I always thought that Lewis Collins would of made an excellent James Bond.

Yeah,I think he was maybe rumoured to be at one time...perhaps he had too much of 'a hard man' personality about him, having played Bodie in The Professionals and Peter Skellen.

Collins deserved a far better career IMO and whatever he's up to now,I hope he's doing okay.

Remind anyone of an Andrew V Mclaglen classic?

The Hard man personality was exactly what would of made him such a good Bond. When you watched The Professionals it was Bodie that you knew was the muscle of the two. Can you imagine what it would of been like after Roger Moore's jokey laid back persona. I think Cubby and co seriously dropped the ball with that one.

Just looking at his Wiki page and it says that he applied to join the SAS after Who Dares Wins, passed the entrance test(!), but was deemed not suitable due to his tv/film fame. I never knew that! Just when you thought he couldn't get any cooler!
