I've not heard of Mad Foxes before but after looking it up on the IMDB I'd say, yes, I'd probably give it a go if Shameless were to release it.

Vamp, you will love it. It makes Bruno Mattei's films seem positively plain in comparisson! It is pure exploitation gold.

Question is, would the BBFC allow this uncut? It looks pretty strong judging by that trailer.
It would be fascinating to see if they would pass it uncut now. The 1982 X cinema release suffered substantial cuts. But the only scene that might still be cut today is the 80 second rape/humiliation scene at 12m. I'm afraid I wouldn't rate it's chances of getting through.

Hi Angel, good to hear from you again! IMO after the recent BBFC decision with Cannibal Holocaust anything is possible.

I haven't seen Mad Foxes, so is that scene any worse than the one in The Last House on the Left, which has now been passed uncut?

Nos, I don't think it,s as bad as LHOTL. It is explicit, but it hasn't the grim realist tone of Last House.

From a BBFC point of view the scene is likely to be more problematic than anything in Last House which didn't contain any eroticising images of sexual violence eg the rape mainly focused on the faces of the victim and the attacker. In Mad Foxes the focus on full frontal nudity including close up shots and the gross sexual humiliation of the woman (ie the genital touching) is going to cause serious consternation at the BBFC. I'm not saying they will cut it just that it may require cuts.

Thanks for that, Angel. It does sound very different to The Last House on the Left, but it's never smart to bet on the outcome of a BBFC classification meeting!
