Yeah, when a film yours truly enjoys arrives still snipped on U.K. DVD and/or BR then only a generous raft of bonus material will sway me into buying the title concerned. CF is no exception although i admit i do prefer this carnivorous caper to Deodato's fierce flesh feast.

Be interested if they could get ahold of a more less cut version than what's out there at the moment -the joys of censorship.

as ive only just watched CF recently, bear with me...was genuinely appalled by the cruelty in it, but felt as the whole tone of the film was exploititive (where CH has at least TWO levels ahem) i accept this, and as a Radice fan il be watching again...in fact me boxing Day thing is veering close to CF/ Norwegian Ninja anyhow...but as for BD? uncut only.

The version ive seen I wasnt even aware what happened to the Blonde woman until I saw photos on a cd soundtrack for CF/ZFE.

Hamish, when you say cruelty do you mean just in general or animal cruelty?

as a vegetarian of long standing, i do mean the animal cruelty...dont get me wrong the footage in CH im just as uncomfortable with (its just that ive seen it more often, due to curious mates etc....)but do have a revulsion of todays trend towards "straights" (ie mainstream media herdlings) showing me "mondo" stuff...hahaha look at this bobsleigher dying etc....on their phones!! now thats sick....

Yes, thats never an easy thing to watch - was surprised how CH's new edit which mentioned having less animal cruelty in the cut actually had in. I'd just like to see a version of CF where I can see what happens to ''Blondy''.

Someone should make a paraody 'animal holocaust' where the jungle animals rise up and take revenge..... i'd watch that anyway.

any non UK dvd of CF will let you see that...and yes, a parody of snuff/mondo movies would be a hoot (with a fairly limited audience....) but then there's always Srpski as it veers towards parody anyhow.....

As long as it has all the real gore, the animal deaths are horrible because animals are sacred. I would love to own a Yellow Ray of this.

Uncut, yes. Cut, no. As unpleasant as some of the content is is, I won't compromise.

Show it as it is. It's not nice, it's unpleasant. Take it or leave it. Don't like it? **** off then.
stefanmetal and Rassilon like this.
