Now we know that this will be the longest version of
New York Ripper available anywhere,
even with the minor BBFC-required cut, it's now time to unveil a few more details on this Special Edition Blu-ray and DVD release!
Both DVD and Blu-ray will be released on
27 June 2011 and, as well as a brand new high definition transfer of Fulci's classic, approximately 3 minutes of footage not in the previous Shameless release
and 15 seconds of footage not in the Blue Underground BD, Shameless are also bringing you:
- A presetation by Antonella Fulci, daughter and curator of Lucio Fulci's work.
- A brand new, exclusive 20 min interview with Antonella Fulci and writer Dardano Sacchetti.
- A fan booklet on the making of New York Ripper.
The film's running time will be 90 mins and 25 secs.
In addition to this, the Blu-ray will feature:
- DTS 2.0 HD Master Audio in English.
- DTS 2.0 HD Master Audio in Italian and Spanish (with English subtitles).
- The unadulterated original audio, as per the original source, in English.
The DVD version of the film will feature:
- Dolby Digital Mono in English.
- Dolby Digital Mono in Italian, French, German and Spanish (with English subtitles).
