Regarding the runtime of the new NYR release, someone at AV Maniacs raised a point that is something worth inquiring more about. The original NYR disc runtime is 87m 7s (per the Shameless site: Shameless Screen Entertainment » Blog Archive » NEW YORK RIPPER DVD Release ). The new disc, according to Sarah's original post is 90m 25s. Shameless is saying it has 3 mins of footage "not in the previous Shameless release." This isn't referring to the framerate differences, is it? Since the original was PAL format, it would be approx. 3m shorter than the 24fps (or blu-ray/NTSC) version. Is there something else that's been found? And, I assume that the extra 15s "not found in the Blue Underground" release is the freeze frame of Malco looking back, right?
