Question Your Favourite Horror Film from 1990

1990 was a year for some brilliant horror films, but which one is your favourite? What makes it special to you? When did you first see it? Would you recommend it to the uninitiated?

Sometimes it's a hard decision to just pick one film (even when you're limiting it to a single year!), but my favourite film of 1990 is...

Hardware - Richard Stanley

So much more than a Terminator rip-off, Stanley's Hardware is a dystopian nightmare made flesh. Fantastic cinematography and lighting aid the cyberpunk style of Hardware, which in my opinion results in one of the finest films from the '90s.

Trailer:

Plus, repetitive though it may be I absolutely love the theme by Public Image Ltd. which fits the mood of the film perfectly.

Theme (Public Image Ltd. - Order Of Death):

Runners Up:
Arachnophobia
Baby Blood
Begotten
Bride of Re-Animator
Cat in the Brain
Class of 1999
Frankenhooker
Gremlins 2: The New Batch
Jacob's Ladder
Living Doll
Night of the Living Dead
Nightbreed
Singapore Sling
Two Evil Eyes
