What I like best about Walking Distance is that it bucks the commonly held assumption that Twilight Zone is all about the twist. There really isn't a twist here. Sure its fantasy but a sentimental fantasy.
Its a sweet episode anchored by a wonderful performance by Gig Young and that wonderful Herrmann score.
