I haven't watched the whole of the second story in this yet, but it seems to be more promising than the first from the few minutes I did watch.
The first story is unfortunately rather a pointless little piece. I don't know whether the point seems to have been lost in translation or I'm just missing it, but it doesn't really have any clear message. Of course not all Serling scripts had a deeper meaning, some of them were adveture yarns, but I wouldn't say this one falls into that category.
Rather cheap looking and dated with a downer ending that doesn't tell you anything.
