It's interesting how similar this episode is to the very first episode Where is Everybody, apart from a few flourishes here and there, and then the ending too is kind of similar as well.
It feels like Serling was re-telling Where is Everybody in a way, but including the elements he wished he'd included the first time.
I like it a lot - especially the really strong central performance by Robert Cummings.
