Agreed!
After WB my favourites are: CROSS OF IRON, PAT GARRET AND BILLY THE KID, STRAW DOGS and BRING ME THE HEAD OF ALFREDO GARCIA.
I like his other films too (I even have some love for CONVOY!) but those are the ones that stick out the most.
I'd say after Stanley Kubrick, Peckinpah is my favourite american film director.
