Announcements usually happen shortly before the film becomes available for pre-order, quite a while after the rights are acquired. by this time Shameless know more or less exactly what they're doing with the materials available and when they can expect to release.
Cannibal Holocaust is due on 26 September and this is due on 5 December (the dates are usually included in the OP).
CH was announced earlier than usual because it was being screened at Cine-Excess and the news leaked.
