Oh, don't get me wrong, it's not a complete write-off, there are some inspired moments for sure. But overall I found it a bit of a letdown. With the people involved I expected something better, I guess. Probably a problem with having too high an expectation going into it. I'll give it another go at some point and maybe I'll warm to it some more.I was the same with
NYR, didn't really work for me first time round, but now it ranks as one of my favourite Fulci's. He's a bit of an acquired taste sometimes and it might take a couple of goes to get into it. I find I'm also like that with most Giallos - I always seem to enjoy them more and more on repeat viewings.
