To be honest I've never seen SOD,I always thought judging by the pics it was kind of an odd choice using Chaney jnr to play Dracula.

Wrongly or rightly I assumed these were Universal release's,thats what the dvd's say,but looking at the poster's there saying Realart pictures,were they part of Universal ?

This has something to do the re-releases of the movies at a later date in the 1940's.
Realart re-released the movies with new lobby cards and advertisments.
The Realart logo would appear on screen before the Universal logo.

To be honest I have'nt watched it in a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg time,Im sure some one posted that they've watched the Bela Lugosi Collection dvd so hopefully they will know.
