Today in 1883, one of the very first horror movie icons was born, Mr Lon Chaney! So what perfect time to bump this thread. Who else is a fan of these old (silent) horrors?

I am. Werewolf Of London (35, Stuart Walker) Deeeranged wee potboiler. Henry Hull struggles with his homosexuality er, 'werewolfery' in this torrid and slightly frenzied melodrama. The benzadrine must have just arrived methinks . It's littered with allusions. I will rewatch this sharpish. Also contains greatest landlady's welcoming spiel ever. Totally. A post Chan Oland adds to the fun
