Fiend Without A Face (1958)

Okay, this one really freaked me out. The funny thing is, I had saw the last 10 minutes the day before I watched the full movie, and the brains didn't scare me. But then I saw all of it... With them invisible... Oh god. Just the sound they make when they scurry along was creepy! Easily one of my favourite 50's horror movies.

Great 50's movie, definitely one of my favourites. I love the stop motion brain creatures.

Excellent film. The attack of the brain creatures when they become visable is great.

Love this film, one of my favourites of the old sci-fi's. The stop motion aliens are classic. Anyone else think of facehugger's when they watch this?:pop2:

I wish someone would release those brain creatures as a desk top toy! I tried making one years ago, but it looked rubbish . . .

Bump in the Night productions had a lifesize one available, almost bought one but it's made of latex and foam which rots over time. I know it would cost a lot more but silicone is the way to go for something like that. It looked nice though.
They are the same people that put out the Demons mask...which isn't really screen accurate.
Also Fiend without a face is pure joy to watch, I just wish Criterion would release a nice Blu Ray upgrade to there DVD version.
