The White Reindeer (Valkoinen peura 1952) the Finnish vampire story is rumoured to have been picked up by a UK company for release. apparently confirmed by Michael Brooke on the Criterion forums but i've not seen the actual post which is why i used the word 'rumoured'.

this is a real horror oddity/rarity filmed with largely amateur actors and has some unique snowbound atmosphere. it's a favourute of mine and I have the french dvd release La Renne blanc. Here's hoping for a spiffy, restored, bluray upgrade. :loveeyes:
