£32 is a frigging joke!

Anyway, here's Hammer's blog regarding the OAR, I think it should clear things up and stop the "screencap police" from moaning

Or so they'll try and make everyone believe by spouting off in their own arrogant way..

Notice they're also claiming X The Unknown is composed for 1.37:1.

I'm not really bothered, I'm just glad it's getting a HD release and I'll make my mind up whether I think it's crap when I see it, same goes for The Devil Rides Out, which Keirarts says looks really good

Plenty of evidence - especially today - at HTF have shown Hammer is wrong.

Aspect Ratio Research

Will Hammer correct this error and reissue discs, a la DPoD? It's difficult for viewers to decide which presentation looks best if one is presented incorrectly...

Christ, they'll be digging Jack Asher & Terry Fisher up next and asking them how they filmed it. Like I keep saying, I'll reserve my judgement until I've seen it (hopefully tomorrow), it really pisses me off when people trounce a release without actually seeing it

BTW that wasn't a dig at you or Blob

Thanks for the nice words. I'm a Dark Side man through and through though. Editor Allan Bryce put me on his covers when no one else wanted to know and he doesn't go running off to some other artist if I %*@% one up! Here's the new Amicus Special cover and an interior illustration for issue 150. The Hammer Special sold out quickly so get in quick if you fancy this one 'sause Amicus is even better!

As far as curse of frankenstein goes, well I can live with the widescreen ratio so long as too much info isn't lost, as for the pq, well i'm mindful that Curse is a lot older than the previous hammer titles released and it must have been a tougher restoration job, like RIK i'll wait to see the finished product before judging.
