I enjoy a slice of Italian goth horror greatness myself from time to time although i'm by no means a veteran viewer. Such seminal efforts as Nightmare Castle, Black Sabbath, Black Sunday and Kill Baby, Kill all get my vote. Although i've still to check out my U.S. DVDs of The Virgin Of Nuremberg and Castle Of Blood i'm looking forward to watching them sooner or later.

Margheriti's Contronatura aka The Unnaturals (1969) will be getting a dvd release soon by German label X-rated.
Apparently there will be a German and Italian version (both different) included and I've just been informed that English subs are planned.
A new interview with Margheriti's son will also be added.
Several style hardboxes and even an Amaray version are planned but supposedly only one version will be 2 disc.

Will keep you updated.

Dieter Eppler is great as the vampire and the movie certainly has some great moments but it also has some weaker scenes.

Not Italian (I don't think), but CASTLE OF THE WALKING DEAD has just gone through the BBFC. Unfortunately, it was submitted by Cornerstone Media.

Title « British Board of Film Classification
Cornerstone ! FFS!

Why couldn't Arrow have picked it up, or Odeon, or Icon - the list is endless.

I recently attempted to buy Cemetery Of The Living Dead/Terror Creatures From The Grave/5 Graves For A Medium/etc from Something Weird and was not able to get past the Basket. Is it not possible to buy direct from Something Weird from a UK address?

I adore this film and the SW version seems to be the best version yet.

WANT!
