I watched my Network BD of it last week in my horror marathon and while the print damage is quite excessive and the sound hisses and pops like crazy I think that adds to the grindhouse aspect of the movie, not like these faked grindhouse prints but like this was a genuine touring print that was used to make the disc, I liked it I'll probably buy this apparent Scorsese restoration though if it comes out!

I was Assistant Director on a stage adaptation of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD last October, for a local theater company. Had a blast, such an honor!

Didn't you have a role as a zombie extra as well?

No, but my 16-year-old son did. Of course, he loved that. |

Thought you guys might like to see our "Johnny" and "Barbara" (we filmed the cemetery scenes, and projected them over the stage before Barbara runs into the house). What a great time. |

Thanks so much! Once we got those glasses on "Johnny", I thought he looked like he'd just stepped out of Romero's original movie!

Strange that there is not a specific thread for all things George Romero! In view of that, I have put this here: George A. Romero Will Be Getting a Star on the Walk of Fame! - Bloody Disgusting!
