Zavvi shipped my BD today -- and I haven't yet watched my review disc!

Some sites are reporting problems with the audio on this disc.
A couple of times in the movie the dialogue is supposedly out of sync.

Yes, I've been reading this too. It will be interesting to see what people on these forums make of it and if the synch issue is very noticeable.

It's there. Really noticeable when they arrive at the castle and are standing outside, then goes on for a while through dinner with Klove.

It also seems to be out in some of the recap at the beginning. There's about a second gap between Dracula closing the trap door and the sound of it slamming.

I checked the DVD as well in those parts and it's happening there too so I can only assume it happened during synching the master. I can't remember it being this bad on the old AB and Optimum discs but they're long gone so can't check.

I'm going to send them an email this week. I don't even know if they're aware if it.

According to their Twitter feed that are now aware of the issue. No other info, as yet, though.

I'm going to hold off buying this until there's some response from Optimum/StudioCanal regarding the audio issue. If there's a recall and re-issue of a corrected edition, then I'll hang on for that. It's killing me though, as I really want this on BD!

I orderd mine from zaavi the friday before release, its not been sent.
I suspect they may be recalling the discs not shipped out to fix the audio issue. If thats the case i'm perfectly prepared to wait.

Someone on amazon complained about excessive use of DNR, especially near the start. Is this true or the usual internet b*****T that seems to cloud a lot of uk releases wether they have the dnr or not? Its not a deal breaker, i'm just interested is all.
