Wow, I thought I had seen the depths of sleaze Euro-cult cinema had to offer, but there is something even lower than all that, and it comes in the form of a Danish kids' TV presenter.

If your idea of a good time is watching a film about a lecherous dwarf who keeps drugged up young women locked in his attic to rent out to perverted men, then forget therapy, this is the film for you.

Severin in the US are releasing this on with a good looking print on March 31st. Don't even bother suggesting this for Shamless to release though, I doubt the BBFC would even pass five minutes of it.

Sounds like the same version that went out on Zone Horror several times. That version would certainly have problems with the BBFC.

I think all this talk about the sinful Dwarf being ultra sleazy is an exaggeration. I find it neither shocking or disturbing, just terribly boring.

That said, I will probably pick up the XXX version.

I have this version here: http://www.diabolikdvd.com/category/...cription).html which has the hardcore and softcore versions of the film (hardcore has burned in Danish subs though).

Severin are having trouble finding a DVD firm willing to release the hardcore version - Ryko are too puritan or something - but they are looking to release it shortly. The Severin HC version will use their new HD transfer with the hardcore scenes culled from the Danish print, so although there will be a slight drop in quality for these scenes, the rest of the film will have better quality and no burnt in subs.

Personally I still find the idea of young women being kidnapped, drugged and repeatedly raped quite sleazy, but each to their own.

Yes it is sleazy and a rather sick idea, but like most of these sleazefests they are boring! Emmanuelle In America is dull and boring except for the rude bits and that snuff factory, The Beast In Space is a snoozathon and Porno Holocaust, well words can't justify it's tedium!

It's nothing you don't see in countless other films.

'Emanuell in America' is a personal favourite. And 'Porno Holocaust' was a blast. 'Beast In Space' is kind of iffy.
