Yes, I defo saw it on BBC 2 about 10 years ago...too long. Have the R1 DVD it is one of my all time favourites. No Horror collection should be without it. Anyone who likes the majority of the Shameless collections would love it I'd say.

I had it in my Amazon saved basket a while back for the grand sum of £1.72, the same version is now at 29.99. I should really commit to buying instead of saving it for later.

Default The Baby (1973)

I finally got to see this the other night after having heard a lot about it over the years and i have to say, one of the best endings to a movie that i have seen in a long time and what a creepy movie, maybe its the dubbed baby noises, anyway, i just wondered if anyone else had seen it.

I remember seeing it on Moviedrome, it's a very strange movie.

I had it in my basket on Amazon at around £1.50 for weeks, only for it to jump up to around £40; a price that it still see it hover around at when I'm browsing the marketplace.

Thankfully I still have the video recording of this. Definitely one bizarre film.

I decided to dispose of the vast majority of my video cassettes when I moved a couple of years ago. One of hundreds of home recordings that hit the skip was my copy of the Moviedrome screening of "The Baby". Imagine what a chump I felt like when I discovered it was actually quite obscure and not readily (ie affordably!) available to buy on DVD! Still kick myself over that! I'd like to see it again.

Such an odd subject for Ted Post's punchy, economical directorial style. Quite remarkable!

I've heard the US Geneon dvd is pretty good and it's also possible to find it relatively cheap in this pack:Cinema Deluxe Terror Pack.
