saw it for first time last night, nice package , great film but to be honest it depressed the hell out of me.

Got THE DEVILS on Friday, but haven't had the opportunity to watch it yet. However, in looking at the booklet and holding the whole thing, this is a daunting set: heavy stuff, contentwise and physically!

its very grim indeed and tackled the same theme of people using religion and superstion to their own ends as the crucible and witch finder general which them selves aint particularly cheerful. Wish Ken had kept the Spike Milligan cameo in. On a lighter note wish someone would release lair of the white worm.

It's funny, because I watched this one night and Monty Python and the Holy Grail the next – one ends with 'rotting corpses nailed to spinning wheels' and the other begins with them!
