I've watched the film and the Q&A. Had seen Hell on Earth before. It's a great set. Superb presentation, eh?

Cheers Ricardo.

I'll be putting that on Santa's list for sure!

Now give us an uncut Blu Ray BFI!

I saw The Devils going for about £8 in HMV.

Anyone else pick up this superb release?

I picked up the BFI dvd on release day in HMV, it's one of the best looking dvd's i've seen - surely the master they used is good enough for BD!! Surely!!!

Yeah,you'd think so.AND of course,a totally uncut,version for HD!

It really is an extraordinary film!
One of a kind really, and I don't know what it is about it,but it's always fascinated me since the days of VHS.
Must be the controversy, and not before someone chimes in,all the T&A on display!

You have to see it to believe it, a lot of films are completely bonkers but The Devils tops them all

Do you know something I don't? A director approved edit (including the Rape of Christ sequence) was overseen by Ken Russell in 204/2005 and was screened at the BFI in London. The only reason why this version wasn't put out on DVD in the UK is because Warner would only licence the original UK theatrical version.
