I've the Anchor Bay Ultimate Edition and a Dutch 2 disc. The theatrical cut would be my favourite but the Argento edit is fantastic as well.

I have the Trilogy of the Dead pack, the Arrow release with the Savini commentary and the Italian 4-disc set.

No doubting it's an absolute influential classic and deservedly so but if I'm honest I prefer Fulci's Zombie Flesh Eaters. It has much more replay value for me.

I would watch Zombie more than Dawn as well, but I think Dawn is a more serious film.

Vince, I have the Arrow release as well, the one with the documentary and terrible artwork, ( redy color with cream colored head above title) is that the same as yours, the RT is 127mins.
Is there much missing compared to any other UK version .?

Also, my dvd of Land of the Dead is the DC with a RT off 93mis approx, is there another version available in the UK ?
(Sorry for going off topic)

This is the uncut version of the theatrical print, restoring all the BBFC cuts. I prefer this to the Directors Cut though there's not much in it really.

The main differences are the missing Goblin music score (very noticeable in the opening scene), a few micro-snippets of extra gore including a hand being chopped off in a door (which is in the documentary on the Arrow release anyway), and two longish scenes, running around 11 mins. A scene where they meet some cops on the dock (one of them Joe Pilato) and a longer exploration of the shopping mall.
