True. But as I say, I doubt anyone would think it was funny, or clever. I think it actually looks ok, and can't wait to see it.

Since we are rapidly approaching April Fools' Day, I do have serious doubts about all of this!
actually thought the same thing with it being so close to april first, will not be happy if it does turn out to be april fools joke

It would make some sense (however angry it'll make some). Every year we see film sites posting news in April 1st and everyone knows it's fake. I just think Don would know fans wouldn't take kindly to him pulling something like that.

Ah, I think I skipped a few.

I'd like to think we will see another Phantasm instalment, but as with all things, we'll just have to wait and see...

If it is nothing more than a rather amusing jape, someone should track Mr. Coscarelli down, look him right in the face, and say "BBBBBBBBOOOOYYYYYY"

Incidentally, there is no mention of this film on either IMDB or Wikipedia

I've got the Anchor Bay digipak of the Phantasm flicks. I love the first two films - I must admit to never having watched III and IV though. I must get round to it.

The more I look at the trailer, I can see thet Scrimm DOES look old. It was the beer goggles I had on last night I think! I am a bit of a Phantasm fan (or phan, if you like), so I hope this turns out to be good.

When the hell we gonna get the other three on BD?

The first film is one of the spookiest, creepiest most original horror films ever made.
