Just ordered mine from HMV, they are selling it at 12.99, think this a bit cheaper than some other online retailers

Thanks, dude!

Glad that you liked it - Nick & I were bricking it as to how we should approach reviewing a movie that so many academics have written about.

Oh, we hope that you hovered over the images, as we like to include amusing little captions for them...

Nice review,

I really enjoyed the movie, and the commentary but for me Mendick really ****ed it up, rabitting on in riddles, chucking together as many words beginning with P as he could. I was amazed to read he is such a expert on the genre, because he seemed to mock it more than anything else, a bit like a poor mans Alex Cox but with a dictionary thrust up his arse.

Absolutely loved the print of the movie though, loved the way the movie looked especially as you approach the school for the first time, the g/f was blown away and reckoned it was the best quality image she had seen on a Blu-ray.

Funny you should say that about Alex Cox.Listening to Mendik on the Tenebrae disc made me think of the Moviedrome series that Cox used to present on BBC2.Mendik comes off more like Cox's replacement,Mark Cousins.Someone who rubs you up the wrong way and you really don't care what they have to say (although I still give the man a pat on the back for bringing Suspiria to Blu-Ray).

Based on Xavier Mendik's input on the Tenebrae extra feature, I think his comments are thoughtful and very well presented.

My copy of this is still in post limbo. I can't wait to check this out.
