I never saw the C4 screening alas. Presumably the same print as the cut video version.

I have the Italian Raro disc which is a pretty nice release. Even the insert booklet is translated into English. Well worth looking out for.

I keep hearing 'Pre-Cert', what does it actually mean? And whats special about it?

I don't know much, if anything, about VHS, Betamax etc. as when my interest in film started, VHS was being fazed out in favour of DVD.

Basically pre-certs (pre-certification videos) were videotapes that were released before the 1984 Video Recordings Act was introduced (often, though not always, uncut). This meant that every video available in the UK (sale or hire) had to carry an official BBFC classification, and all videos released prior to the act had to be legally certified.

The main effect it had was the complete disappearance of video nasties for quite some time.
