Shall we have a poll on these "favourites"?
Definately make it easier, for me anyway!
If no poll, let me think/look at my collection.
"ill be back!"

Again,I've entered into this a bit late,as all of the best films of this year have been mentioned.

Yes,Profondo Rosso easily outweighs the rest and JAWS,blockbuster that it is,is still a masterpiece of suspense.Spielberg never bettered this IMO.

Another low budget 'classic' of '75 was Ray Danton's THE PSYCHIC KILLER,which substituted what it lacked in big budget effects with a stellar B movie cast!

Yes, good call on Jaws. I completely forgot about this one, and have edited my Runners Up list to include it. Still doesn't top Deep Red for me, though ;)

I considered a poll for each thread but I wanted people to really think and get involved in the discussion rather than just checking a check-box and clicking 'vote'.

Looking forward to see what you choose, dis. :)

The Ghoul, starring Peter Cushing. A film that i've always had a fondness for.

Why, thank you. :)

The love of film is the main reason why we're all here, so I'm glad people are taking the time to read/post in these threads, and seem to be enjoying them too.

As it's one of my favourite movies of all time I'll easily go with "Jaws", which scared the living hell out of me as a kid when I caught a grisly snippet on the telly just around the time I was supposed to learn swimming...:lol::coolblue:

Special mention also goes to "Night Train Murders" & "Night of the Seagulls".:)

"Deep Red" is ace too- though I always thought that one came out in '76...?

Profondo Rosso / Deep Red is the fave of course,it just gets better with age, much like a good wine, then Cronenberg's great and genuinely scary Shivers.Me too likes Night of the Seagulls dudes.
