Dr. Phibes is one of the Price's films I've never saw. After reading this, I should do it asap ha ha.

Along with Theatre of Blood it's my favourite Price film (which is no mean feat!). Essential viewing talabartero.

What do y'all reckon is the best death sequence in Theater Of Blood?

All great films, but I still prefer Phibes and Theatre over them.

My favourite horror film from 1971 would go to Vampyros Lesbos, which I would also have to class as Jess Franco's best film.

Twins of Evil would probably be my second favourite horror from the year.

Robert Morley's and Arthur Lowe's are my faves.

Morley's for me, too.

Interesting choice with Vampyros Lesbos. It's a very good film, but I'm more of a fan of Rollin's erotic vampire tales than Franco's. In my opinion, Franco's best film is Bloody Moon.

That'd be the poodle pies and a little night surgery then?
