Nice pick with Taste the Blood of Dracula, by the way. I slightly prefer Scars, but they are both essential Hammer films nonetheless.
Its a quote from "Taken" btw - with a slight alteration.

I don't know why i love Taste the Blood of Dracula so much. I had the cut Warners vhs which grabbed me, but when it was released uncut on dvd with all the extra blood and brothel scenes - wow.

At least the 90's will be a short list

I'm undecided whether to do the '90s as I can't think of a film from that decade (let alone each year!) that really stands out. I may end up doing it just for the challenge!

Off the top of my head, there is The Blair Witch Project, Scream, Cronos, The Devil's Backbone, Se7en (not generally classified as a horror, but there are plenty of horror elements), Dellamorte Dellamorte, Alien3, The Exorcist III, Ringu, Dark Water, The Silence of the Lambs, Jacob's Ladder, Wes Craven's New Nightmare, the Sixth Sens, Candyman, Society and Frankenhooker!

With over 2000 members we could do with more people adding their 70's choices.

Doesn't matter if they have been suggested previously.

Where's the non mods ideas on these threads????

It would be great to have as many people involved as possible and, as far as the mods go, I've had my say as has Reaper, bizarre_eye and Stephen. We'll think these threads are a terrific idea as it gets us back to discussing films as we used to when the forum was first established. Long may it continue!

Yeah,back to INTERESTING topics!

1970 was one of the quieter years on the horror film front (Compared to the rest of the decade).

Perhaps people were still getting over the shock of Night Of The Living Dead,The Wild Bunch and Bonnie and Clyde.....
