Default Mardi Gras Massacre (1978)

With the new Code Red dvd out now I was thinking it would be interesting to start a thread on this one.

I'll need to rewatch it.
Last time I watched it,I remember it being rather fond of ripping out hooker's hearts!

Some comments on CR's Mardi Gras Massacre:

"Just finished watching MARDI GRAS MASSACRE and it looked good to me despite the disclaimer plus I really enjoyed the sleazy 70's feel to this film, another winner in book."

"The general consensus on MARDI GRAS seems to be pretty positive, despite the disclaimer at the beginning."

"Mardi Gras Massacre was a stellar little release. I really thought the transfer added to the oddly compelling atmosphere of the movie. Thanks a bunch for the bonus interview with William Metzo, as he was the best component of the film, and offered a decent amount of insight."

"The transfer is surprisingly good in spite of what the disclaimer says at the beginning. Supposedly a tape master they cleaned up, it actually looks like a film transfer."

"More different than you have ever known!" is another quote from this one.
It's actually is a fitting description of the movie...

Watched it last night and had a good time with it. Definitely from the school of HG Lewis. But it's another example that shows how full of crap the UK ratings people were/are, because there are many movies from the same time period that were much worse in terms of gore, violence, and sexuality.
