Cheers

The three in the middle kind of look like a vampire male voice choir, but overall I'm quite pleased with it . . .

Superb!
I'm really hoping this gets the BD treatment soon!

I love it and always have. It's an insane blend but I watch it at least once a year and lady watched it about a month ago. It's just non-stop fun with Cushing in the mix.

It's also more clever than people give it credit for, at least tackling the notion that religious symbols and methods of killing could be different in a non-Christian area.

One thing does make me wonder. The village is tiny and the vampires have been terrorising it for years. Do the villagers have an endless production line of young female victims? Surely they'll run out sometime..,

Even though I love Hammer, for some reason this one did nothing for me, but I've only seen it once, maybe it's time to re-visit it.

A shame they didn't make any sequels - would've liked to have seen more of Van Helsing's adventures in the Orient, or maybe the hopping vampires invading Victorian England . . .

Yeah,it is a pity.
But by '74 Hammer were rapidly running out of steam.

I don't see this film mentioned in the latest Darkside Hammer issue.
