is much cut as its £25 for region 1 but has to come from America, while UK version i can get for £15 even though its used its a lot cheaper than what people are charging on amazon and play.com

Hmmmmm.

there is a whipping sequence that is just gone in the UK version (this is Tombs, the first film). Plus the BU ones do look better imo. Each to their own, but if youre set on investigating, why deny yourself? Or, wait til you have more spare scratch???

You can probably pick up the individual BU releases from Amazon for £20.

from what you have said and others on the web will get the region 1 box set, it is only £10 more,is new and box looks nice.

but going a bit overboard with what i bought/pre-ordered in the last few weeks.

I don't know where you live but if you are in the UK customs will charge you an extra £12 at least, import duty.

thanks for that if that's the case will look on ebay, had a few dvds come from america but they have been individual films, so that might have something too do with it

Do,pick up The Blind Dead series,they're pretty good.As stated they're not the goriest
of zombie flicks,but they have loads of atmosphere.I have the BU region one coffin boxset,along with the ABUK region two,both nice even if the UK one is cut.
Buy them now.

Don't even think about getting them - just get them! They're some of the most atmospheric horror films ever made. The mood is incredible and they're easily the coolest looking zombies you'll ever see.
