Apart from the scenes involving FX, I thought it was a bit boring.

I finally have a little bit of free time, and by a little bit I mean a lot.

I plan on having myself a mini-marathon:

The Woman in Black
The Prowler
The New York Ripper
Bad Taste
Opera
Tenebre
Tetsuo
The Company of Wolves
and Ghostbusters which I have shamefully never seen.

I probably should have clarified. I plan on watching 3 of them a day for the next 3 days.

Glad to see The Funhouse mentioned at last - took years to click with me but a definite favourite now. The Gate is great fun too, deserves a little more love.

While it's still not a firm favourite or anything, I do appreciate it a whole lot more than I did first time around.

Another one I just remembered that just scrapes the 80s I think - Exorcist 3. Still a bit of a mess but has a few of the most terrifying sequences of any horror film IMO. Bout time for a Blu Ray with extras and perhaps even an alternative Blatty edit, a la Ninth Configuration!
