Default My Bloody Valentine (1981)

Just wondering if anyone could give me some advice. My Bloody Valentine is available to rent on iTunes and I've always wanted to see it so I was thinking of downloading it. The run time is listed as 1:90:24 so could anyone let me know if this is likely to be a cut or uncut version?

Thanks!

This was the very first 'X' film I saw (underage of course) on the flicks back in 1981.

Alas all video/DVDs feature the heavily cut R-rated print. Either way it's one of the best and most atmospheric slashers of the lot.

I watched this a couple of years ago and although I can't remember much about it now, I do remember liking it enough to put it on my "DVD Wishlist", which it is still on!!! Maybe it's cheap somewhere?! I'd definitely recommend it though.

I'd love to see this film uncut.

You are aware it's owned by "Paramount" though?

Okay, so hope dies last and with the upcoming remake one could only hope that the orignal's rights will be available at some point to another company, which actually cares.

The cuts in the currently available "R Rated" version are so clumsily made, they really remind me of 80's censorship cuts to UK and German VHS tapes.

I'd guess the DVD has already hit the bargain bin in the UK, too....not even a trailer is included, but the pq is quite nice for an early 80's slasher.

Based on this, vince, I might rent it anyway. I likes a good atmospheric slasher, I does...
