Default Evil Dead Trap (1988)

A TV station employee takes a camera crew out to an abandoned factory to investigate a purported snuff film that was made there, only to end up running for her life when a small, fetus-like creature murders her crew.

I fookin love this crazy ass Japanese film & highly recomend it to fans of 70's/80's Itallian horror because that is how this film plays out, worth mentioning that this film has plenty of blood & nudity then comes to a mental ending that would make David Cronenberg proud!

Yeah, I bought it back when and agree with you about the Italian flavor. Nice flick.

The eyeball scene at the end would make Lucio Fulci proud

Awesome soundtrack too, if slightly Phantasm inspired.

I'd love a Blu-ray of this.

Its quite funny to me just how mild the the few seconds that are cut actually are in the UK release, by that standard of censorship am surprised the entire horror genre isn't just outlawed in the UK completely. It reminds me of another really trivial cut, the cat eating the mouse in Inferno, not cut now but that defo wins the prize for most silly cut.

We should start a thread to try and work out what the most trivial thing censored in the UK is.

Gotta love back cover blurbs. Who the hell is Lucio Fulcio?

Great little film. The sequel is downright strange though.

Ok I'll start with Payback (Mel Gibson's best movie for my money), which although uncut now, was originally cut by 5 seconds to get an 18 certificate for featuring some swishing and flicking of a butterfly knife. There's loads of similar examples but this always stood out as it got an 18 anyway.
