Default My Bloody Valentine (1981)

How does this slasher released in the golden year of the genre compare to its counterparts?

I like it better than most of the FT13's to be perfectly honest, with only parts II and IV matching it.

I really like it. It's one of my favourite North American slasher films and one I return to fairly often.

F*ck the remake with a rusty trowel though.

I really like the remake.

For once it's a remake that dares to go down the blood and guts route with some very gory and occasionally inventive kills.

Great film and I also enjoyed the remake not half as bad as I expected it to be.

Make sure to get the uncut R1 version that came out a few years ago. One of the better slasher out there. It's head and shoulders above stuff like Graduation Day.

I picked up the uncut Lionsgate DVD some time back and recall enjoying it quite a bit. I'd never seen the film before then. I thought the killer with his pickaxe and miner's mask was very effective. The kills were nice and gory too. I'll have to dig it out and give it a re-watch soon.

A film that I've grown to love over the years.

I seriously regret not picking up the US Blu when it was still available.
Hope it gets re-released eventually!
