Children of the Corn director's cut found!!
 

After many, many years the directors cut of COTC has finally turned up. Shown once on LWT in 1987 and never seen again, this print contains more scenes, dialogue and GORE!

Do you remember the advert in The Dark Side classifieds asking for the TV version of COTC? Well, this is it. Hopefully something can be done with it and its brought out, as I have been dying to see it for years.

Here you go, Silver Surfer. I knew that I had posted something when I found out about it. :wise:

After reading through it again there is no mention if anything has been done with it, but if I was the head of a DVD company that had access to gore scenes that have been unseen since the '80s I would want to keep it under wraps until the big reveal. :nod:

Did anything of this ever surface?

I remember that ad and I knew the guy who kept posting it - Chas - was another of our fellow stallholders at film fairs in Watford and Welwyn Garden City :)

A DC of Children of the Corn would've been great....the blue man wasn't it?

I watched the standard version last night, saw this thread just now and got excited thinking the DC was finally getting a release :(

Wonder if Arrow are going to put this version on their UK release... :eyebrows:
